Why Shade Tree Collective?

We use evidence-based methods, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and Family Systems, combined with a faith-based approach, to guide you toward meaningful growth and lasting change. Whether you’re seeking help for personal struggles, relationship challenges, or family dynamics, our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower you to embrace the life God has designed for you.

What is our mission?

The mission of Shade Tree Collective Counseling and Wellness is to create a nurturing, faith-centered space where individuals and families can find healing and growth. Rooted in both science and spiritual insight, we are committed to empowering our clients to achieve meaningful, lasting transformation and well-being that impacts both their lives, relationships, and future generations.

Do you take Insurance?

We have chosen to operate outside of the insurance system. This allows us to maintain our focus on providing personalized care without the constraints and complexities that often come with insurance companies. It helps us keep our services tailored to your needs.

What about reimbursement if I use my Insurance?

Because many clients choose to submit their receipts for reimbursement, we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider. Whether or not they’ll chip in depends on your plan’s out-of-network coverage and any co-pays, but we’re here to help navigate that mystery.

How do I pay for sessions?

We accept various payment methods, including credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover), HSA, FSA, debit card, and cash. We aim to make the process as smooth as possible for you.

What if I can’t afford your services?

We understand that financial situations can be challenging. While we don’t accept insurance, we are committed to making mental wellness accessible. Therefore, we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots each month.

What are your fees?

Our fees vary depending on the therapist/professional you choose—just like a good cup of coffee, there’s a perfect fit for everyone!  Our fees start at the following:

Graduate Student Intern: $35/session

Associates: $140 and up/session

Licensed: $150 and up/session
